Bernard Lynn "Po" Poché met and married his wife Carolyn Marie Kampmeier in 1929 while he was working in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  During the Great Depression, he held as many as three jobs at one time in order to keep his family together.  In 1944, he and his family moved to Dallas, Texas where he become a Bookkeeper/Credit Manager for a tire store. Later, he became Office Manager/Treasurer of a light manufacturing firm in Dallas.
